Anke Otto-Wolf is a published author, passionate teacher, and an authority on Self-Esteem; she has transformed 'wild' classrooms, from K-12, into tranquil, learning conducive environments; she manifests self-esteem in adult learners; she creates the tools for teachers; she provides hope for students’ and teachers’ success. Anke's intense work with inner-city kids has earned her many awards and recognitions such as from former President Bill Clinton, and Marian Edelmann of The Children’s Defense Fund. Anke is also the co-writer for a socially significant video against violence, “Go Ahead and tell”, which won an Oscar in 1994 from the film Academy in L.A. Additionally, the needs of the inner-city children spurned the creation and publishing of "The Psst-psst of Toley Ranz", an inspiring, educational series of children's books focusing on tolerance and self-esteem.Anke’s self-esteem guide for parents and teachers, “How Many Patches has your Tolerance Quilt?” and the “Toley Ranz” websites are being prepared for the German public; the Italian version follows soon.
In May 2008, Anke presented her Self-Esteem E-Seminar at the CCAE (California Council for Adult Education) state conference in San Diego. Her E-Seminar Self-Esteem E-Seminar informs of live / e-seminars, downloads, FREE call-in coaching sessions, books, etc. Anke is a Jack Canfield trained international speaker and presenter. Music & ProductionThe Toley Ranz theme music is based on the author's family whistle; it was and still is, used as a simple communication tool among her family. Toley Ranz is the great communicator and guide and part of the family, therefore, he earned this special theme music.
Evren Ozan is 15 years young and an accomplished composer and musician. Evren composed and played the Toley Ranz theme music when we was eleven. He is a hgihly talented Native Indian flute musician and has won many awards. In 2007 he took home first prize for "Alluvia" Best instrumental Recording of the Year from the Native American Music Awards. Evren appears throughout the nation and in Europe. Evren lives with his family in Laguna Beach. Jeffrey Briggs, composer and guitarist collaborated with Evren for the Toley Ranz audio books' theme music. Jeff is an accomplished musician and composer for concerts, film and TV; he produced video documentaries about South American music; Jeff lives in Los Angeles.
