Toley Ranz is a whimsical character with a powerful message of
tolerance and self-esteem for kids of all ages.

Toley Ranz is the strong inner voice through which children learn to be aware, enhance their self-esteem, and accept responsibility for their own actions!

Toley Ranz dipped in warm bright light, appears suddenly and only to kids; without being visible to adults, it conveys the help and solutions children so desperately need and seek; it encourages the child to embrace the love and respect for self, the understanding of others; and it supports the child's awareness of the now; it is the 'security blanket' of today's child; it is their Secret to a bright future with self-esteem, awareness, and success.

Toley Ranz's healthy prime color Rasta-look head gear makes this character appealing to children; its wide-open face expresses joy, laughter and love; it feels soft, warm and cuddly into every child's heart and hand; this character represents the inner voice, the instinct, the gut-feeling of every child; kids can depend on Toley Ranz… it is always present, dependable and strong.

Toley Ranz speaks to children with the soft sound of "psst-psst" signalizing that help is on its way when 'something is up'; the simple sound of psst-psst is the secret communication tool between Toley Ranz and the child in need; the psst-psst reverberates wherever children are present.

The spiritual Toley Ranz music was composed and played by then eleven-year young Evren Ozan; he is now 14 and the 2007 first prize winner of the Native American Music Award for best instrumental recording.

Children benefit from Toley Ranz through self-esteem and inner strength, because it is the awareness of "I can"; it gives the feeling of being secure, and having success; it is a part of every child's future Toley Ranz's message has a long-lasting impact on children, families, classrooms, i.e., on society.

"The time is right! Toley Ranz is the secret and the inspiration for kids' joyful future...
Toley Ranz is what's been missing in children's educational entertainment... Toley Ranz is the answer!"

The Psst-psst of Toley Ranz and the Purple Pencil©
A three book series

Meeting Toley Ranz Book1
Sammie loves the color and wants to keep the purple pencil; but in his mind he can hear his classmates making ugly fun of him in class. He is so sad that he does not even want to go to school anymore. Then suddenly, in the bright light stands this funny looking little guy and says, "Psst-psst, what's up Sammie? Believe in yourself, keep the pencil and you will be fine!" and Toley Ranz disappears reminding Sammie to share the psst-psst with others. Sammie does keep the purple pencil. Sammie knows that he can depend on Toley Ranz who said that he feels good because he listened to his own psst-psst!.

Sammie's Big Decision, Book2
One day in school, Mario is very ugly and calls Sammie's purple pencil a "sissy color pencil". Sammie is very upset and thinks about throwing the purple pencil away. Toley Ranz appears, "Is that what you really want?" Of course that's not what he really wants, but how can he get Mario to stop making fun of him? Sammie asks his mom, and she said almost the same thing as Toley Ranz said!

"Do what you believe in." But it's difficult and Sammie does not sharpen his purple pencil anymore. He is waiting for Toley Ranz, but no sign of his new friend. Then, Mario was really ugly again. That's enough now, thought Sammie. I sharpen my beautiful purple pencil, no matter what. Suddenly, he hears this tiny little "psst-psst"; "This is awesome, Sammie, you really have found your very own psst-psst," says Toley Ranz.

Now that Sammie has his own psst-psst and knows how to use it, he shares it with all the other kids.

A Goal for the Purple Pencil, Book3
Little Sammie is a passionate soccer player, but that Sunday he misses the goal and the other team wins. Two of his classmates scream that "if the ball would be purple" Sammie wouldn't miss! Deeply hurt, Sammie is about to give up soccer when a familiar psst-psst sounds! Again, Toley Ranz appears in this beautiful bright light and reminds Sammie to share the psst-psst. "Yes, also with Tommy and Mario, they just don't know how much fun the psst-psst can be", says Toley Ranz. "Remember to listen to your heart." Sammie invites the two boys to play soccer with him; Toley Ranz appears again and praises Sammie who knows the psst-psst by now very well and counts on it. The following Sunday, Sammie kicks the winning goal and his two new friends cheer him on. Toley Ranz appears; Sammie is very happy that he is able to share the knowledge about the psst-psst with Mario and Tommy. Now, also they have found their own psst-psst. And how many kids will they share the psst-psst with?

6. Oh no, I lost my psst-psst!
Julie wants to win; she cheats and wins; kids in camp do not like her, because she also lies. Then one day, funny and pretty Christie arrives. Her left leg is a little shorter than her right, that's why she cannot run in the competition; she smiles and watches; everyone likes her and wants to be friends with her; Julie is jealous and provokes Christie; Toley Ranz appears and asks her to be aware. Then, one day Christie was angry and did not listen to her own gut-feeling, called Toley Ranz. She just needed to 'show Julie' that also she could walk really fast. So, she participated in the walking competition. Christie came in last. Julie laughed loudly about her. Christie was sad and upset about herself.
"Where is Toley Ranz? Where is my psst-psst?" thought Christie; she was truly miserable. "Why did I do this? Oh no, I have lost my psst-psst!"
Of course, Toley Ranz appears in the bright light. "Remember the psst-psst is not automatically there, you need to listen to yourself and to your heart and find out if you do things for the right reason!"
Christie reclaims her psst-psst, and shares it with Julie; they eventually become friends.
